My hair is medium brown and pretty thick. Right now it is cut so that I have long layers. My hair length is about to the middle of my back. I am looking for a good short hairstyle (about shoulder length or slightly below) that will work with think hair. Normally, with short hair, my hair will poof or look bulky. Any ideas? Pictures please!

Try www.seventeen.com/salon and Google some images with a specific search and print out plenty of pics, so when it gets cut, the stylist will know exactly what you want.
