How do I make my hair wavy?

I have medium length hair, going just a bit below my shoulders. I have small layers starting from below my chin. I want to add some wave to my hair, but all I have is mousse and a hair dryer. I'm not allowed to buy a curling iron. So, how could I add waves to my hair? And maybe anything else that'll spice it up? i'm 13, btw.

run your fingers through your hair when you dry it, making curls with your fingers,

Scrunch it! Take the mousse and put some in your hands, and squeeze the sections of your hair, and then blow dry it.

my hair is liek yours n i wear waves daily

when you wash it rinse with really cold water and put some sea salt in it

when it dries put a leave in and mousse/gel and braid your hair in sections you can let it air dry or use your blow dry but it will look softer if you air dry it

also try 4-6 sections for big waves

for crimp like waves braid smaller sections

If you could braid it while it's still wet, it would be wavy when it's dry. But if it's too short to braid, how about using a curling gel and srcunch your hair as you dry it? Or find those old fashioned metal clips that look like metal teeth that ladies in the 1930's used to wave their hair? I don't know whether you mean those kind of waves from that era, but waves are different than curls. Waves look just like ripples on water, while curls are round and open.
