Spotty head?

I've got medium length blonde/brown hair and I have found little spots on my head. They REALLY hurt when my hairbrush hits them, I've used the same shampoo all my life so it cant be that.

What are these spots? How can I get rid of them?

x

Spotty head?

Are they ingrowth hairs or pimples? Go to your doctor if they dont go away. Good Luck

Spotty head?

Try changing shampoo. It may just be from the weather, have you been out in the sun?

Do deep conditioning hair treatments work?

and if they do how often should you give your hair a deep conditioning treatment. Also what would be the best one to use for thick wavy medium length hair that tends to dry out

Do deep conditioning hair treatments work?

yes deep conditioners work very well. after shampooing your hair with warm water, rinse it with warm water, squeeze off excess water and apply conditioner. some leave conditioner on for 30 minutes, some for a few minutes. guess it depends on your hair type and the type of conditioner. then when you get ready to rinse it out you need to use cool or cold water.

you might want to look into aphogee conditioners but I would get a professional to put it on for you.

Do deep conditioning hair treatments work?

idk maybe

Do deep conditioning hair treatments work?

yeah they definatly work but only if you rince them through properly. other wise you just end up with greasy hair.

Do deep conditioning hair treatments work?

for the moment; not long lasting

Do deep conditioning hair treatments work?

yes they work GREAT! If you can go and get it done by a proffesional it will work better because they use certain conditioners for the type of hair that you have.

Do deep conditioning hair treatments work?

they totally work. You have to towel dry before applying and I like Ion available at sally

Do deep conditioning hair treatments work?

Combat the damage of chemical treatments, coloring, heat styling and environmental pollution by deep-conditioning your hair on a regular basis. This will help replenish lost moisture and keep locks shiny and resilient.

Instructions

STEP 1: Assess your hair's needs and the time you have available. Different formulas offer different levels of conditioning, and treatment time can range from 2 to 60 minutes. STEP 2: Select a formula that best suits you, then consult your stylist to insure that the conditioner you've chosen will not interfere with your color treatment. STEP 3: Shampoo your hair. Towel dry, absorbing all excess moisture. STEP 4: Place a quarter-size amount of conditioner in the palm of your hand. Use more conditioner for longer hair. STEP 5: Rub hands together gently to distribute conditioner. STEP 6: Begin at the hairline and apply conditioner from forehead to ends. Comb through hair for even distribution, applying a little extra to the ends of long tresses. STEP 7: Massage scalp and relax for the time indicated. STEP 8: Rinse thoroughly and style as usual. Tips %26amp; Warnings

For a quick deep-conditioning in the shower, gently squeeze any excess water from your hair and distribute the conditioner evenly throughout your hair. Shave your legs or suds your body to give the conditioner time to work.

For a spa-like experience, light a candle and draw a bath prior to the application of conditioner. Clip your hair up or tuck it under a shower cap and relax in the tub for 20 minutes.

What do you think....?

Here is my hall0ween costume. I am going to be Cleopatra with a nice medium-length black wig (straight hair) and gold make-up and glitter and white powder to make me look a little scary but very sexy. I also will wear a nice gold dress and heelz. What do ya think?

What do you think....?

Yea, loose the white powder and try the bronzer (powder bronzer). Also try sandals, cute gold strappy ones, i don't know if Cleopatra wore heels.

What do you think....?

sounds good just dont over do it on the white powder but to look sexy id get rid of the white powder and use a bronzer....after all she was tan

What do you think....?

i think you picked a good costume. just loose the white powder but everything else seems nice.

What do you think....?

I think.....I really don't care

What do you think....?

i think u'll look good. ur lucky i haven't found what i wanted to wear yet. just make sure u don't overdo the glitter and powder cuz some ppl look SO wierd if they do it wrong

What do you think....?

That kind of seems like a lot for Halloweeen. But, if you are going to some type of contest or party, it's PERFECT!

Good highlight colors for me?

i have medium dark brown shoulder length hair

what color highlight should i get?i like wild colors like red, blue, pink

what would look good?

heres the color my hair is.i dont wanna put a pic of myself so i found one like my color

http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g69/su...

except my hair is shoulder length and layered

Good highlight colors for me?

I love red highlights....they're wild but not totally obnoxious...i'm getting them done for the summerrr

Good highlight colors for me?

I really think a light brown or something simple would look good, I don't think something wild would work. Sorry! Your hair looks great from the picture you posted, don't do anything too dramatic to it!

Good highlight colors for me?

dye hair black and then get hot pink highlights. like joss stone

Good highlight colors for me?

Maybe some blonde highlights or even reddish brown highlights. But be warned getting colorful highlights like purple and pink and blue can seriously take a toll on your hair. If you were to get colorful highlights make sure you use a good shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair and deep condition your hair maybe once a week. I think that purple highlights would look nice.

good luck.

Is it bad to shampoo & condition your hair everyday?

if i don't my hair feels oily and i don't like that feeling . or is the feeling of oily hair a good thing ? is shampooing every other day better ? and conditioning everyday okay ? or do i have to not condition everyday ? i have medium length hair and i just want healthy hair ! please help ! thanks so much .

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

Depending, if its greasy looking only on the roots the best way to deal with it is with a clarifying shampoo (like suave its a clear one) it will help remove all the build up caused by hair spray, gels, and other products you apply. Make sure when taking a shower, you shampoo once only applying at the roots of ur hair then when u rinse it will clean the tips. When you apply it the 2nd time you apply again only in the roots and leave it for 2 mins it will stop the greasiness, and apply conditioner only at the tips leaving it for 10 mins under a shower cap...

Shampooing everyday will cause ur hair to be dry, depending on ur hair if you follow the instructions it should only be done every other day.

Again depending on your hair needs;

1. Hair is too oily: wash everyday only applying conditioner everyother day.

2. Hair is too dry: apply conditioner every time u take a shower, only shower every other day...

hope my tips work

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

If you have naturally oily hair you may prefer to shampoo and condition your hair daily. It doesn't damage your hair to do that, as long as you're using good products, it's simply easier to style if you only shampoo/condition every other day for certain hair types. Whatever you feel is best.

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

If your hair is oily it's fine, but if your hair is dry, frizzy, damaged you can shampoo and condition 3 times a week.

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

i have the same thing if i go a day without washing my hair it turns oily i wash it everyday my hairs fine

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

Okay, first, yes it isnt good to shampoo every day. Every other day is fine unless your hair is really dry then every two days. It is more than okay to condition every day. Its not good or bad for your hair to be oily its just natural but its NOT good for your hair to feel dry and brittle, so oily is better than that. Also, try not to blow dry, curl or straighten alot, dont fall for anything that someone say to put on your hair because hair cant absorb anything like mayonnaise or honey, it just sits on top of your hair doing nothing. Hot oil treatments are bad because after, the oil doesnt come off and if you blow dry or go in the sun, it will basically fry your hair trapped in oil. Also, hair has to have at least 8% water content. Hot oil treatments prevent the water from absorbing into the hair. The same goes for bleaching, perms etc. they can bring your hair all the way down to 2% water content which is about when your hair gets split ends and may even become brittle and break. If you feel that you have to straighten/curl your hair everyday or something like that you might want to go to a reputable stylist and ask them if a relaxer/perm would do less damage in the end, then make sure you ask them how to take care of your hair afterwards, hope this helped any other questions i didnt answer, i would be happy to.

Also, I dont know why someone gave me the thumbs down...I am in cosmetology and everything i said here was 100% true. Please dont abuse the system that yahoo has provided for us. Thumbs down are for untruthful, rude, innappropriate or unrelated answers, not for true, helpful answers.

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

shampoo and condition every OTHER day. Do a weekly conditioning treatment with heated up extra virgin olive oil for shiny healthy hair. Just leave it in for 30 minutes on dry hair and then rinse. Redken shampoo and conditioner products are the best for your hair. good luck.

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

yup, use shampoo 4 frequent use and then conditioner. dont use hair mask everyday!!!

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

My suggestion is that you look for a special shampoo for oily hair; that should take care of having to wash it everyday.

If that doesn't take care of the problem you could try using a vinegar rinse which will make your hair shiny and take away the oil.

If you wash your hair to much you will wash away the natural oil's, which your hair needs.

It's alright to condition but if you have a tendency to have oily hair the condition will actual make it more oily.

Try finding a special shampoo that is suited for your hair, instead of the conditioner you should try vinegar, it will make your hair shiny; take away tangles and the oily problem.

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

no its not because i take a shower every day and i use both all the time in my hair , and my hair is beatiful

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

I have the same problem. I have quite long hair and when I wash my hair, the next day it's oily. I hate that feeling so I shampoo and condition everyday. I've been doing it for a few years now and so far it hasn't damaged my hair at all. My hairdresser said:

Shampoo your scalp - not your hair

Condition you hair - not your scalp

See if that helps...

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

Only if you are using the wrong type of shampoo for your hair. If you hair is oily, use products for oily hair.

You may find when you use the correct formula, that you may not have to shampoo everyday unless you are sweat a lot because then it might get oily.

When you apply conditioner/moisturizer, please only apply it to your ends. Do not go anywhere near your scalp because it will make your scalp oily.

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

No!

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

make sure your using a shampoo and conditioner that have stated that it is ok for daily use, otherwise your gonna end up with oily greasy hair!!!

Is it bad to shampoo %26amp; condition your hair everyday?

The hair cutter lady said to me that I shouldnt use shampoo every night, and when I didnt It would strip the natural oil out of my hair, and make it less oily. Sorry about my grammer.

Asian Hairstyles ..HELP ME!!!?

i'm a filipina a 14 year old girl and i want to style my hair so that i'll change my "childish" act.. i want an asian style.. do you have some good sites where i can find asian hairstyles? and also any recommendation to me.. my hair length is medium, below shoulders and it's wavy.. i want a really BEST hairstyle... specially a korean and a japanese hairstyle.. tnx!

Asian Hairstyles ..HELP ME!!!?

Really, I think asian women have the best hair in the world. Keep it long and straight.

Asian Hairstyles ..HELP ME!!!?

put a flower in your hair.

or pin up your hair with bobby pins.

Asian Hairstyles ..HELP ME!!!?

One thing about Korean/Japanese hair styling is that they like to add a LOT of layers to your hair. They will layer it really really high. But I think this only looks good on hair that is straight. If you want this look, then you need to get a hair straightener with ceramic plates-- metal plates will burn your hair.

Bring a picture in so your stylist knows what you want. You might feel a bit stupid doing this, but this is your hair you're talking about. If you don't tell them and show them exactly what you want, you're not going to get it.

I like Fann Wong's hair. She's a Chinese Singaporean actress. Do a google Image serarch of her.

Asian Hairstyles ..HELP ME!!!?

Hey...i am a 16 year old Filipina and i have almost the same hair as yours. My hair, though, dries kinda thick with a few waves but not enough to wear it down wavy. I get many compliments from my friends cause they all always think my hair is perfect everyday so i will tell you what hair styles i do. Although i wish i could curl my hair like the girl in high school musical (gabrielle...i think that hair is perfect)..i have some trouble with that. One hair style i do and am famous for (lol) is straightening it. Although yours is probobly naturally straight..it never hurts to straigten over it. You can tell the difference (less friz, more control, and shinier). Another thing you can do is take a shower and let it dry half way. They, put it up in a messy bun with a few criss cross hair ties in it. Then go to sleep like that. You will wake up with a few big waves in your hair. Next, take it out of the bun and take a spray bottle filled with water and spray your hair a bit and scrunch it like you would with hairspray. Then, take hair gel ( i use clear ice in a tub) and scrunch your hair with that. When you think you scrunched it enough, (make sure you are doing this all with your hair flipped up side down!) flip your hair back up and style it a bit ( put in a cute bobby pin or a clip). Then scrunch it with your hair back up and fix anything that you dont like. Another style you can do which i am wearing right now is a slicked back pony tail. My pony tail (you probobly feel the same ) dont look good directly pulled back so i put a side part in it and put it in a lowpony tail. I love this look because it gives a causal look some glamour. If doing this look, put in some chandelier earrings....very cute! Good luck deciding ! :)

Asian Hairstyles ..HELP ME!!!?

Hey, I'm 14 and I have really thick black hair with carmel highlights and I'm korean. I've never really noticed any specific korean haircuts and I like the American haircuts better. But my hair is too thick to do anything with. But most Koreans I know that are girls have short hair that's layered and flipped up at the ends with bangs swept to the side.

Hairstyles...oval face?

I was wondering what hairstyles are best for an oval face shape. I believe that's what I am. ;D I wear glasses as well, so as great as it looks on the guys, I'm not so sure it suits me. I currently have medium length (a little past shoulders) brunette hair. I was thinking about getting a few highlights as well.

Short hairstyle? Medium? I would include a photo, but I have don閳ユ獩 have any uploaded unfortunately. :/
