Hair style advice?

i have medium- short dark hair and i want to get a hair cut. i'm always looking to try out new funky colors and styles. i'm a little alternative looking, i like to look a little edgy but still natural. i go for an "artistic/natural/funky european look" if that helps to paint a picture of my taste at all. kind of like winnona ryders short hair style. i have a little bit of an inverted bob right now, and i want to come up with something that has the effect of winnona's haircut, while keeping my length and volume (atleast in the front).i know i'm very particualr, but does anyone have suggestions or a good website that may help.
